MEET OUR SHELTIE

.  This month’s Sheltie is Piper owned by Jamie and Stephen McKay who share the story of Piper.

 

While taking agility classes with our golden retriever, we grew fond of Rosie, a sheltie with incredible drive and personality. Our classmates were quite amused when they learned we were getting a Rosie pup as she was affectionately known as "NoNo Bad girl!!!"

Piper is a 12-3/4 tricolor girl and at age 4 is becoming more like her mom every day. I mean that in a good way except for the barking! Stephen handles her and they are currently competing in AKC excellent. I tried rally obedience with her and duck herding. She was adept at gathering up the ducks

Piper is a wonderful companion who loves to deliver the mail and sing along with us! She lives with Stephen, Jamie and Nan McKay as well as Keltie the Golden Retriever, Ceilidh the Westie and our new bi-black sheltie boy Derby. We thank Lea and Bob Lupinacci for her and send sad condolences to Toni and Steven Mapes who recently lost their much beloved Timmy.
